[Trans] DBSK Featured in "Made In Japan"

Being at the top of the music scene in Asia for a few years, DongBangShinKi has become the superstars worshipped in several countries. And see the success of their new album, Mirotic, released in October, it is not ready to stop. Enter the world of the Gods of the East.

Known under several names according to the countries, Dong Bang Shin Ki, in short, DBSK in korea, Tohoshinki which gives THSK in Japan and also Tong Vfang Xien Qi, TVXQ in China, the name means, modestly, the Rising Gods of the East. These 5 good looking boys (T/N: if I'm not wrong, its supposed to be translated as 'fellows' but it sounds a bit inappropriate) of Korean origin who do not know the crisis are: Xiah (Kim Junsu), U-Know (Jung Yunho), Hero (Kim Jaejoong), Max (Shim Changmin) and Micky (Park Yoochun).

The Koreans were discovered on stage (T/N: not too sure about this part) fro the first time in December 2003, in a special showcase BoA and Britney Spears. There, they sand their first single <>, a nice ballad, which came out in the following month in the music stores and saw an enormous success with its release. In June 2004, the group hit hard with their second single titled <>. With its loud sound and sexy style, the single unleashed their passions and made the 5 members of the group into true idols. In addition to their projects, the participated in the summer album of their music company (T/N: rough translation. SM Summer Album!)

Then the article goes on to talk about their events, covering some of the more major events such as Japanese activities, Jaejoong's injury resulting in him being unable to dance, Japanese album releases, Summer Dream, Last Angel with Koda Kumi, the 4 #1s on the Oricon charts and how Mirotic has sold more than 460 000 copies.

I'll just do the member intro :D

Xiah Junsu:
Spotted at the age of 12 for his talents, he went through 6 years in <>. Thanks to it, he became the first to be chosen for the group. He is very calm and steady, and adores writing poems (T/N: OHREALLY? I NEVER KNEW THAT.) He has also collaborated in some projects outside the group: the magnificent song <> with Jang Ri In, and the Anyband project with Epik High's Tablo, pianist Jin Bora and BoA (and yes, her again!). They sand two songs <> and <> in the group formed for an advertising campaign for Samsung.

U-know Yunho:
This is the leader of the group. With his exceptional talents in dance, he won the Best Dancer Award in the SM entertainment competition which won him a place in the group. To reach there, in college, he joined a dance group with whom he participated in some concerts (T/N: I suppose that's what it meant, not too sure about this part) He also made an appearance in Dana's video as a rapper and back dancer. Not satisfied with only dancing, he also made us benefit from his talents in choreography.

Hero Jaejoong:
Hero comes from the English translation of his stage name YoungWoong. He is the main singer of the group. He came in first in the audition, physically as well as vocally. He expects a lot from himself. His beautiful androgynous face and good body won him, in 2005, the title of the most good looking man in Korea. He was going to be the leader because he is the oldest, but (T/N: something which I didn't understand, but I think it meant that they picked Yunho over Jaejoong because he was more comfortable in public)

Max Changmin:
Choikang Changmin is the stage name which he chose and means 'the strongest', 'the best'. To not lie about his name (T/N: I guess it means to live up to his name?), he always gives his maximum, which gave him his stage name, Max. He is the youngest of the group, he was one of the youngest of the auditions, but that did not stop him from impressing the judges with his voice.

Micky:
This little latecomer did not meet the group 6 months before its formation. Although he spent his earlier years in Korea, he left to live in the United States at the age of 8. His stage name came from there. They nicknamed him Micky and that it remained. Spotted at the time of a song competition, he passed an audition to go back to SM. He also has another passion useful to the group, he loves writing songs.
